Oxygen Water

10,000 Mililiters Per Liter Oxygen

The Big Pitcher dissolves oxygen from air into water. The process is widely accepted in water treatment circles. The maximum natural saturation — maximum and natural the two key words here — is about 10-12 parts per million (ppm), or mililiters per liter (ml/l). ppm and ml/l mean the same thing.

I’ve heard recently that misguided souls are spending unnecessarily for water claimed to be 10,000 ml/l! Well, it’s physically impossible to saturate water with that volume of oxygen and besides — WHO WOULD DRINK IT??? Certainly not I.

Human tissues are designed to operate under certain pressures. If the maximum natural saturation (and this is 99% saturation) is 10 ml/l , would you risk cellular oxygen toxicity?

The sad part is that the individual selling water to his patients doesn’t have a clue. I’m told he’s a wonderful physician and nice guy. It’s the company who sold the oxygenating equipment to him own the lie. More on this later…
